AB-Fortis® is a patented microencapsulation technology that encloses iron in a protective micro-shell. It bypasses the acidic stomach to avoid the gastric irritation and metallic taste of ordinary iron, releasing directly in the intestine where iron absorption is highest.

😌Will it cause nausea?

Free iron touching the stomach lining causes nausea. Our patented AB-Fortis® microencapsulated iron does not cause nausea, as the iron stays encapsulated all the way through the stomach.

😌Will it cause constipation or dark stools?

The micro-shell keeps free iron away from the stomach lining, which is why most users report no constipation, cramps or nausea. Slightly darker stools are a normal and harmless response to any iron supplement.

🌸Can I take it during periods or while trying to conceive?

Yes, it is ideal for replenishing iron lost during menstruation and building optimal iron stores when planning a pregnancy. Pregnant or lactating women, and anyone with a diagnosed iron disorder such as thalassaemia or haemochromatosis, should consult their doctor before use.

⏳When should I take it?

Morning or between meals, with water. Avoid tea, coffee, milk and calcium supplements within an hour, as they reduce iron absorption. Our Vitamin C helps optimize iron uptake even further.
